A Single Glance

With a single glance I was captivated Impossible to get her out of my mind The essence of my being permeated There was a right moment that I would find I was not willing to leave love to chance Impossible to get her out of my mind Between each heart beat I learned how to dance So glad I had the courage to talk to her I was not willing to leave love to chance As we spoke I felt my emotions stir Knowing somehow that she felt it too So glad I had the courage to talk to her Some thought I was crazy but that wasn't true We were destined for each other from the start Knowing somehow that she felt it too We have two bodies but share the same heart With a single glance I was captivated We were destined for each other from the start The essence of my being permeated A single glance can change a life forever! I enjoyed your contest. I barely made the deadline, number 50.

Once you get the hang of the form it is quite fun to write. Tying the beginning in with the end and having it be coherent is the biggest challange.

I love how the story goes..:) and this form is new..:) very nice..:)! The repeated lines are touching..:) good you beat up the deadline same as me when I have my muse few hours or few entries prior deadline..:D!

I like the rhythm and flow of this form, constant weaving of the lines over and under; a braid of words. As usual you breathed new life into the form and made it your own.
