A Simply Fallen Angel
A simply fallen angel.
Who ventured to far from home.
She's been captured, bound, and stolen now.
Encased in precious stones.
She wept, slept and kept herself.
Away from worldly wrongs.
In a place of simple loneliness.
A place of simple song.
And Our simply fallen angel.
Who just won't believe.
I'm a lost ghostwell gathering.
Or treasure tossed out to sea.
Fallen to a pirate band.
Then recorded to CD.
As a simple song of simple hopes.
Of shining stars thought telescopes.
As hidden light behind the notes.
The music hides from man.
But as light flies from gem to gem.
You'll hear her holy singing voice.
And see her holy sin.
But she has found beauty in this life yet.
As she heard a song and could not forget.
That man she met on Sixth Avenue.
Who forgot the world and sung the truth.
And on the spawning dawn of judgment day.
You'll hear them in the wind.
With their simple song of loneliness.
And their simple song of sin.
