A Simple Need
I just want a girl
I can make dinner for
A girl to leave the past behind
And stop being a sinner for
Or we can start sinning more
It doesn't matter to me
But what's the point of the game
If you've got no-one to win it for?
I'm not saying that I'd need her to live
Or that I'm looking for a reason to live
I just think it'd be easier
For me to keep up my chin
If I had a shoulder to rest it on
When the exhaustion's creeping in
