A Shadow of Doubt
My shadow to me is like
fragrance to the flower,
Moon to the sun,
Like the shade to the tree--
As it tells not what fruits it bears,
My shadow reflects not
the matters of my heart,
It foreshadows not
the dark side of my mind;
Tread not on my shadow
Nor shadow the whims
of my sly heart...
It will lead you astray!
