A Shadow
In this waking existence
Where I merely reside
I just exist
A shadow of the light
Out of sight
Out of mind
That is the reality of my life
I merely exist
To be seen
To be invisible
To be heard
To be silenced
I am all
Yet I am nothing
I merely reside in this existence
With nothing to truly call my own
I am just myself
A shadow of the light
