A Season To Burn
Vast, chaotic embraces
dissolve
falling through fingers,
earth unto earth,
fertile flesh inviting,
tempting eyes,
tempting palms,
tempting ripe seed
with tomorrow's promise
of greater beauty,
more abundant pleasures
in the core
of all blossoms and fruit
we burn
in slow dependant rhythm
cured in time, a cycle of life,
a season of intense maturity
we climax.
