A Sacred Voice of Choice

My message may not appeal, Nor deal, To, or with the mind, My love of life, is not that kind, But give it time, To refine, The mind, And you will find, It is the best kind, Being not of the mind! You may not believe, Being deceived, Be even left to grieve, All, that all souls request, Is for the best, To receive life’s rest, Drawn from the heart, Love’s best, Of the master’s rest! Not all of humanity’s reserve, Even deserve, Not trying to preserve, But oppose themselves, and fail, The true selves of holy grail, Un till the mind’s resolve, Exposes wild child! When hearing words fails, The flesh finds it’s wails, It never fails, Well bled, the dread, Un till death is fed, From the call of the wild, Of the wild of the Nile, The Pharaoh child! The pardon, Started with words in a garden, Your sacred heart is the garden, That went inside to be pardoned, The pardon started with words, “Thou shalt not”, My love you got, Was God’s best shot, But do or die, Die, the sty, Became carnal mind’s eye, Therefore, my so call fables, The labels, On my heart’s tables, I set before, You to explore, For love has more, Being life’s core, The beginning and the end, Love will forever gin, Love never ends, My friends! You may take it, Or you may leave it, It is your choice, By words I voice, You love, love, You know it, I know it, Don’t let you mind blow it, Sow it, LOVE! 7-6-09 johnmosesfreeman@yahoo.com

It definitely boils down to a choice, I'm in complete agreement. It's also the hardest choice one can ever make, the choice to love goes against many preset beliefs the typical person has against the world and himself. the choice to love is always available, but how often is it really made? I can only answer for myself and I'd say I'm lucky if I make it 40% of the time I'm presented with a conflict, and I've been practicing extremely hard for 3 years. it's hard to see results sometimes. -Yoni
