Everyone celebrated Monday Grand Memorial Day Now the workers are working Now ruined a Saturday The noisy trucks go up the road At five, six, and seven o'clock Destroyed a quiet Saturday Gone the barn swallow flock The sun still slowly rises up Black clouds float 'pon the sky Will the rain start falling soon Or the sun keep all dry
