A Rose For Miss Nobody
She left the throng,
To show she was strong.
Her choice, we knew was right,
But we never agreed she was bright,
For she is Miss Nobody.
She raised a song,
We didn't sing along.
Her lyrics were full of sweet refrain,
Yet, we maintained our rigid restrain,
To get along with her act and Art,
For she is Miss Nobody.
Suddenly, we heard the gong,
That her breath, she could not prolong.
All of us, with our faces forlorn,
Trudged, with the guilty load we borne,
To give a beautiful rose each to Miss Nobody.
