A Ransom Paid By Christ

God was making provisions for a Messiah. The Father’s plan had already been laid. And only His Son could cancel our debt. There was a ransom to be paid. God sent Jesus for those who live today, as well as for those who came before. The selfless, loving gift Christ offered succeeded in opening a heavenly door. Jesus was the sinless and blameless One who never fell prey to Satan’s attack. He loved us enough to die for us. The least we can do is to love Him back. He willingly took on our transgressions. He readily paid the immeasurable cost. He bravely accepted His mission in life to ransom the souls of the lost.
