A Rainy Day's Surrender
While drizzles of day dreams reveal a rainy day’s surrender,
the mist sprays lightly and I sense a tingling refreshment.
On the tips of my toes the puddles encompass; so tender-
The slight ray of sun becomes the center of my contentment.

I deluge in the scent of Spring’s soft endearment flourishing.

as I open my mouth for a taste it’s so natural and nourishing.
I deluge in the scent of Spring’s soft endearment flourishing.
I close my eyes and embrace the touch it gives my forehead-
As I open my mouth for a taste it’s so natural and nourishing,
I twirl around with a delighted smile and arms widely spread.

The downpour brings flashbacks of my youth spent with my love.
I twirl around with a delighted smile and arms widely spread,
as I become infatuated with the water flowing from up above.

He has always flooded me with the moisture of his gentle kiss.
As I become infatuated with the water flowing from up above,
I feel a wave of enlightenment and I start to quietly reminisce.

Within a single breath I am taken away to a waterfall of wonder.
I feel a wave of enlightenment and I start to quietly reminisce,
for beauty can be found even when surrounded by the thunder.
