A Promise In the Rain
And now they’re in the eye of recognition
A promise of new love
The two wrapped in a the act of transition
Is it grand remembrance, perhaps when your love was the young?
The passing of the hands the eyes, the tongue
A state of expedition telling all there story
All eyes rise in excitement, embarrassment, or anticipatory?
Of what may come next
Some look perplexed
As the skies split the earth with precipitation
Young lovers kiss without hesitation
In a fanatic hold
While the rain molds them
