A Promise

I forget things I'd like to remember and recall what I'd rather forget. And so I made solemn promise. A promise that so far I've kept. I promised to always remember to forget all I forgot to forget.

Yes, the unpleasant times have a way of never letting us forget them... A very clever and humorous write, Mark. Nicely done!

Jan, you're always such a dear to keep up with my occasional verse and so supportive. Much appreciated. Now if I could only remember to reply to comments.

This made me laugh Mark. Very clever and I needed a good laugh before retiring to bed. I always enjoy your work. Nite : )

Connie, always a treat for me to see your avatar on one of my poem's pages. I so appreciate your support of my work, which is meager of late because I took a summer job here at Cape Disappointment State Park where I do nature interpretation. Lovely work, but very intense and time consuming. So I've had little time for rhyme. It's over on September 15.
