A Prayer
Heavenly father where do I turn? Praying solemnly to you albeit my heart burns. As you are
almighty and children are we, look at us; don’t you see?
I pray to you on a daily basis but everything that I owned seems to be erasing. I hold on to
a little pride but inside I hide with only dignity at my side.
I pray to thee with an open mind but my soul feels in a bind, seemingly blind. I have
changed my heart mind and my body only to live around hells folly.
Another day is on the rise and you wake with me with the opening of my eyes. I say a silent
prayer to start my day by light, but in a way a dark haze covers my sight.
Lord I know not where or when nor have a clue, I only pray and leave it all up to you. By the
time I realize what holds my fate it may for all intensive purposes be too late.
The way you intended life to subsist is not the way things and people make their list. Please
lord look, you must see, humble are we bound to worship thee.
Please oh lord, bless me and take me into your heart, along with you and the saved many I
want to take part. Of the rising to the heavens above, to a land where there is nothing but
love.
Amen…
