A Positive Outlook
Each day starts off shiny and bright
It's often hard to keep it that way
External forces beyond our control
Can influence and affect us each day
If we're strong and resist temptation
Then most days are filled with joy
Though each one's still a bit of a challenge
A positive outlook we must employ
Take it from me, been round for a while
So experience is what I've got
In my seventy plus decades here on earth
Seen it all since I was a wee tot
