A Poetic Trip Through the Mind

Through its canyons and its valleys Through the space between them all Through each tunnel that seems endless in the corners of its halls In a moment that comes flashing to the words, you will conceal There's a place you cannot enter it's a space you won't reveal To the head that seems empty with its thoughts that are so real To the passing of a lifetime through the days that end surreal To each memory that's collected and reflections to remind With the trembling of the voices in the center of your mind 12/12/16

One takes a 'trip' through your mind with every wonderful written word. And it is always worth the journey! You are a favorite poet ..... I love the way your mind thinks Frederic !! (PS....you are always so extremely kind to my poetry, by the way. I am humbled to be in such fine company!)

The spaces we won't reveal are those that are filled to overflowing with uncertainty....The words we conceal are those that may be misconstrued....or words that are too precious to articulate. Lovely write, dear. You make words flow like honey.

I tried to do the contest, and ended up having written a poem, but didn't enter the contest. I love your poetic trip. It flows, it reminds me of Windmills of your Mind. That same beautiful flow.

I tried dong this challenge as if giving a look into my thoughts as I were lying in bed trying to sleep. Just stream of consciousness approached, realized it was garbage and trashed it. Sure wish I had thought up this approach!!
