A Poem
Traveling with light
its the only way to traverse time waves
with my eyes clasped shut, i work the magic
and leap from my vessel with wild abandon...
only to capture the essence of a leaf
on the tide of wind that bears it adrift
ever so carefully so that
unnoticed, like a thief,
i arrive at my destination
have you ever existed two planes at once?
could you stand witness?
three times now has the world been awash
waves crashing down with the strength of titans
rolling in, hungry for sand
the greatest seas swallowing the farthest deserts
each time, i watched the world fade
inhaling the brine, tasting the wide-eyed fear of the ones you love
It asks a price of your soul
there was love lost, and there was absence of love
a million highways captured me in their dreams
traveler though i may be, it haunts me to walk it,
as i know these many paths are mine
from the crisp fall of cities asunder
to the biting tundra of my north country
leaving behind what i know, but never forgetting
sipping the brew of astral projection
i've stepped into the multi-faceted diamond of my being
and was graced by the lotus of the stars
it's a fourth dimensional existence planted from the seeds of my ancients
still asking questions, but no longer needing the answers
