A Piece of My Heart

Here today gone tomorrow I didnt get to say goodbye I miss you so much I could just cry Everyday I try to hang on to all the memories of you being my brother of me being your sissy It's hard to believe that someone would take you away from everyone you loved but God knows best God in heaven above The pain cuts so deep deep within my soul on that very day you left me my heart became froze...

A heartfelt and touching write. It is always painful and difficult when a loved one dies, especially if it is sudden and unexpected. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Robert.

Did your brother pass away Andrea. I'm sorry for your loss. There are times when I don't understand how young lives are cut short. Your poem is heartbreaking and very well written. Best to you, Diane
