A Personal Mistake

When the nights are long and cold When the wind howls and beats against the frame My mind recalls all my personal mistakes, sold For the easy road, the faster lane The most disgraceful, never told Has to be the dreams I let end because another's life Over powered my dream, or am I just sand sifting against the elements Floating with the current Dreams give us hope, hope makes me float Never end on a sad note Never End Thanks Jared for the inspiration in your poem, Personal Fame

Are you saying--there are no short cuts? It is not easy to follow your dreams, and you lay out the unfortunate feelings that result. I could relate to this. We try to look ahead while not repeating the same mistakes. You have been very kind.
