A New Years Blessing
A New Years Blessing
May your neighbours respect you, all sadness neglect you
And Angels protect you always,
May your troubles be less and your blessings be more
And nothing but happiness pass through your door;
May the best of your past be the worst that’s to come,
And God grant you long life and a prosperous one.
May you each day be blest with the things you need most,
May your love be as broad as the sea;
May the Lord keep you safe in the palm of his hand,
And grant you the wisdom to help where you can.
May you never feel sorrow cross all of life’s miles,
May you always share joy and cause others to smile.
May the luck of the Irish protect you,
May the devil fly off with your fears
May your guardians walk beside you
Each day through the rest of the year?
Sleinte!
