Oh, a new year and a new beginning,
And the time to write a resolution;
My first is to seek out some forgiving,
I want to give my forever friendship.
Oh, poets can we find a solution?
And then this forever pen will drip, drip.
My deepest hope is to start the year right,
I will put all my anger in the past;
Muse, oh do tell this heart and soul to write,
I look forward to starting a new me.
To write words that for eternity last.
I want you to see how sweet, I can be!
