A New Dawn

Woke up today to an angry sky, Lowering grey clouds drifting by. Heralding another gloomy day, Winter still wanting it's own way. Not ready to lose its icy grip, Trying to make the unwary slip. Sunshine battles with bouts of rain, Soon though Spring will rise again. Nature will always have its way, See the blossom on the trees today. Bulbs send forth their tender shoots, Clothing the land in colorful suits. Listening to the mournful sound of The wind as it whistles all around. Watching the sun shine more each day, Summer says it is on its way. Winter over, Spring here at last, Not much more of winter’s blast. © Dave Timperley 12/02/2019.

Sounds rather strange turn in the weather. Where are you Darlene? It has been a lovely day today but the sun takes its warmth with it at sunset. Thanks for your comments. God Bless. D.
