A New Beginning
Tears fell when I saw you
With someone altogether new
You couldn’t have waited till I left
Before leaving me alone feeling blue.
After you told me your love
Wasn’t for me,
My tears fell hard from my heart,
So now, you have set me free.
I took for granted all these times
With my tears crashing to the floor
That you cared and loved me so
Then you just walked out the door.
But I believe in my heart
That this will be a new beginning
And dreams really do come true,
For God was there, from the start.
