A Narrow Arrow
A Narrow Arrow
Flying high had been a big hawk
And bird beside him who liked to mock
As they saw each other every day
Were happy and no one did dismay
Hawk would fly highest in the air
Often as he did downward would stare
Seeing all the things which were below
How great it was God himself said so
When you may mock another bird
By God you are always reassured
Unless long and much more narrow
Then you would look just like an arrow
