Rumi Verse ("I want that love that moved the mountains. I want that love that split the ocean. I want that love that made the winds tremble")
____________________________________________
We succumb, collapse, and slide, But then we rise, ease, and shine betide. Only passion can genuinely set us free, Water your sanguine days with regard and empathy. Determination is the success key, When things are awful, stay resilient; don't flee. If faith shifts mountains—love will defeat all, In a world full of people, faith seems to crawl. Watch as blooms sprout from it the next day, Fear shows daring and humanity, may betray. Doing what you're afraid of builds strength, Embrace chaos or move a mountain length. You can be past the mountain on the way, If you tell it to move, it accepts what you say. Regardless of the issue that you may face, It won't be sufficient to retain you in place. When hurdles arise, despite the level of force, Never let it deviate you from your track course. It won't be an issue of size but of how tall, Speak your mind, and the mountain will fall. The goal is in sight of you, and work is at hand, Mountains will comply with your command. With bravery, trust, determination, and pride, Nothing stands in your way if God is by your side. Appreciate mountains, they are vital over time, You will value every step you select to climb. In times of crisis—others query their might, Yet, a leader realizes an excuse to act as a fight. There is no such thing as a hopeless dream, To come true—you only need hope and gleam. We can now accomplish anything we desire, Our love can't cease to exist or even expire. If you believe in love—all it takes is some faith, Faith in your heart can move rocks—kill wraith. And grasp, deep inside, that love will defeat all, Large mountains and vast seas can't stop our thrall. Beyond our reach, we can reach the sky, Simply believe it—trust in yourself and I. Once we have love, that is strong enough, All is doable since love is always tough. I'd shift mountains at will to be by your side, I'd risk a storm to gaze into your eyes wide. I would trek the most vast and turbulent seas, Your gaze leads me to feel feeble in the knees. I'll be your rock if you're weak, an ally if you're sad, I'll be all you've ever desired and wished you had. I'll trust you forever. I'll be there for you till the end, I'll borrow stars from the sky—you may ever lend. Written: January 13, 2024

dearest Sotto--your poem is full of wisdom, depth, and profundity. It speaks of strength, courage, faith, love, and commitment. There was a certain cadence that added power to your philosophy. This verse resonated with me: If you believe in love—all it takes is some faith, Faith in your heart can move rocks—kill wraith. And grasp, deep inside, that love will defeat all, large mountains and vast seas can't stop our thrall." I believe in faithful hearts; they are the well spring of hope. A fav

Ahhh!! Romantic work. Yes, we can go far if we set goals and divide those goals into small steps. We can reach the summit or get that mountain moved to another place. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K
