A Mother's Dream
I had a dream one night of a beautilful
baby girl with big brown eyes.
Unable to bear child
I was filled with great joy and surprise.
I was holding her so very near,
I could not figure out why I was here.
She was looking into my eyes, with such innocence and love.
I knew that God was sending me a message from above.
When I awoke with such dismay,
I thought, Oh no, no way.
But almost one year to the day,
of that wierd and wonderful dream.
I am holding a beautiful baby girl with big brown eyes looking at me.
I now know that dreams do come true,
Because God wanted me to be with you.
You may not have been born of my womb.
But God wanted me to be a mother to you.
