A Mother
A Mother
Opening a treasure box
Wherein you can be found
Gentle voice of cherished memories
Vivid reminders of your pure love
Weaving through a life of cares
Never have you forgot to share
Warm arms that extend beyond
Every doubt and despair
Pillar of strength that can’t stumble
Yet sweet tears of a compassionate soul
An anchor to hold on when things get rough
And a lighthouse in dreary nights that leads you home
In this world, you’re called mother by your dearest child
Or by many people to whom you’ve shown your smile
A virtuous woman who’s worth more than a pearl
Creating a masterpiece of one’s journey that surpasses it all
