I enjoyed reading this one today. Soon there will be another phenomenon in the sky sometimes in September. I hope it ushers in some cooler fall like weather. Thanks for sharing and dropping by my blog. Our son still has some numbness and somewhat paralyzed, but the doctors say the feeling and use may come back or partially back or possible it won't. Time will only tell. Sara

Congrats and high fives Craig! You bring together a picture of a perfect "solstice eve" with all the beauty and grace of a pensive heart that "can't forget." So memorable. Blessings!

This is soooo nice, Craig. It is interesting how the shimmering of the light across water makes the moon appear to be broken up. I gained inspiration for my write for the contest from this poem, even though I had not yet read it. Strange! Good writing. Thanks for sharing.
