A Mockingbird May
A Mockingbird May
Here is what I like more than anything
All of the songs a mockingbird can sing
Numerous always are and continuing on
They are right into dark from early dawn.
A fine friend indeed I just have found
Enjoy fine singing and flying around
Even if sad or I have much loneliness
A beat and a note he never will miss.
Then there is something else that is true
Maybe some songs he made up a few
Regardless if you are tense and sensitive
To hear still can be quite inquisitive.
I am aware he is definitely one of a kind
Been heard by someone who may be blind
Sings from tops of trees or a long limb
Each song always reminds me of him.

This is some thing we both would like.
