A Mind That Never Sleeps
I`ve had these thoughts within my head,
They`ve plagued my perception red with hatred & grey in dread.
I cannot stop thinking of what i`ve always known,
They constantly keep on speaking, and they never leave me alone.
A lurking twisted torment of all things open on each & every side,
I`m guilty of my own mayhem within my inner side.
I`m a terror of my own memory i make my own self pay,
Things I`ve touched & cared about, I watched them fall away.
Like a dream within a dream, an affliction felt in vane,
Am I still dreaming, or awake and insane.
You never know...
I never know...
