Tranquility Sea Painting by Sally Seago

If wisdom was a picture, how beautiful she’d be. Words melting into hues, in perfect harmony. Truth revealed for all to see in reflective symmetry. Like rhythmic waves flowing in an open sea.

Bill, you did something truly spectacular. The union of knowledge, truth, and harmony exhibits an exquisite unity spanning soul, intellect, body, and essence. If we see wisdom as an attractive mental picture, the absolute splendor and eternal thought would be unrivaled.

I think it's wonderful, and maybe a tribute to Sara, that you address wisdom as a female. I'm all about that kind of recognition, especially from a man. Your rhyming is impeccable, Bill.

kind of you, Lin, to think Bill wrote this poem as a tribute to me. Although he's kind enough and appreciative enough to do so, he's always found wisdom to be a beautiful concept and something he strives for compassionately and with his whole heart. He's an unusual man...grateful to be married to my soulmate. enjoy your evening, Sara

Sara would be a good match for this poem ... I guess I could put her picture above it. :-) Thanks for the loving thought, Lin. I can always find something to admire in a woman besides her body. It works both ways. As a species, we are way too caught up in looks and sex. It's a small part of the whole person. Thanks for the visit and comment, my friend. Have a great week. Bill

Very perfect, Bill! Wisdom, Truth, Symmetry -- harmony of spirit, mind, body and soul. One in the formative creation of God by way of His Christ/Jesus. Blessings.

How beautiful and mellifluous is this poem, it may be short but it is so well written and delivered with such deeply moving thoughts, and your rhymes create such a catchy cadence too! I especially love the opening line and also “ Words melting into hues, in perfect harmony.“ how gorgeous! And stunning and artistic is that! Words melting that is truly very unique and brilliant! “ flowing in an open sea” love the last line too! You are so good with rhymes! Absolute pleasure reading this

That is right and its a beautiful picture you have painted with your words there. However wisdom doesn't come easy and worse not everyone has it.
