A Memory of You
I THINK ABOUT YOU SOMETIMES
AND WISH I COULD REWIND
WE USE TO TALK A LOT
WHICH WON'T BE FORGOT
WE USE TO LAUGH
AND HAD A BLAST
WE WENT TO CONCERTS
THAT WERE FUN FOR SURE
HOW IS YOUR SONS
I BET THEY'VE GROWN TONS
I HAVEN'T TALKED TO YOU IN A LONG TIME NOW
MAYBE YOU FOUND SOMEONE TO BE WITH NOW
YOU'LL HAVE A PLACE IN MY MEMORY
AND MAYBE SEE YOU OR TALK TO YOU SOMETIME
AS MUCH AS THE TIME
SO I WRITE THIS RHYME
TAKE CARE OF YOU
AS I WILL TO
I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU
HUGS ALSO FOR YOU FROM ME TO
