A Man Runs Down the Street
The shadows of grey lay broken on the shore's of antiquity
a child cry's in the night screaming for parents lost
their dreams but broken sleep their torment driven deep
the shadow of grey lay broken on the shore's of antiquity
It is not life that is cruel, life can be the dancing queen
yet human beings in their ineptitude their joyless waste
a man runs down the street his hand holding his love
with beating heart and flowing tears their pain emence
Can you taste their fear, a girl runs nakid down the street
tomorrows joy lost to the anger of yesterday
it is not life that is creul tomorrows war is started by man
your greed your anger your idea's dreams that build your sin
We are all God's children we are all loved with his love
and yet you feel you have a right to kill his children in his name
a man runs down the street his hand holding his love
with beating heart and flowing tears their pain emence
