A Mamas Words Or What My Mother Told Me

A Mama’s words or What my mother told me Hold it in baby girl Don’t let them see you cry Keep it on the inside Be strong Do it for mama Please don’t cry Don’t let them see you at your weakest point Hold yourself up Don’t give them the satisfaction of seeing you hurt They’re just bullies They don’t give a damn They just want to see you get damaged They just want to tear you to pieces They don’t care So don’t let them see the tears spill from your eyes Don’t let them see you’re not as strong as they think Don’t let them see your walls crumble Don’t let them in Don’t let them get close Hold it in baby girl Don’t let them see you cry Keep it on the inside Mama’s here for you to dry your tears once they’re gone
