A Mama's Day
It was a pretty day in May.
I sent my children out to play
And warned them not to go astray.
A mama's day! A mama's day!
I poured myself a cup of tea
And settled down with only me
And favored program on TV.
With time to see! With time to see!
And then I heard a frightened shout,
And wondered what it was about.
"The baby's caught in water spout.
He can't get out! He can't get out"!
Forgetting all about my show,
I ran as fast as i could go,
So fast that I was flying low.
My baby jo! My baby jo!
