A Look At Nothing

I took a long, hard look at nothing; dust swirls and dizzies around me; patches of parched grass at my feet; scorching, cruel glare of noonday sun; the highway melts, flows and meanders up into the glazed skyline, into space; watery mirage blurring watery eyes, still taking a long, hard look at nothing!
