A Little Help From My Friends
Always there when I fall but not there to judge
The person that I can call or gives me a nudge
One who holds all of my trust inside there heart
Which time will never rust or can even tear apart
One standing by my side where so many once stood
Standing with pride and taking my place if they could
One who can't say no despite what their going through
These things that show reveal how they feel about you
Like an old sweatshirt something that you know so well
They comfort your hurt and then they don't go and tell
Because they put you first and that itself says so much
In seeing you at your worst they just don't see it as such
A friend gets you by and will never throw it in your face
For you they always try and yet they still know their place
Right there next to you watching ahead of you and behind
For in having a friend who is true is truly a wonderful find
