A little deer, a little girl
Her towel lays on the ground
Dropped in her excitement
When the little fawn she found
The fawn had wandered from her Mum
She saw the little girl
Stood there at the garden's edge
Her senses in a whirl
She felt that humans may be bad
That did not seem so here
A little girl with arms outstretched
It dispelled all her fear
They came together, cuddled up
She lifted the fawns head
Gave her a kiss, like her Mum did
Before she went to bed
Could they be friends for ever now
It could be so, and yet
It may be just one episode
A glimpse is all you get
