A Little Down

Feeling more than a little bit down Could be because of the weather More likely it's just one of those days It's really so hard to measure Small things surely can make a difference Doesn't take much these days But chin up I'm hearing everyone utter Tomorrow will be better they say I know, I know, but while it's happening It's little consolation I'm afraid I'm well aware it happens to everyone But my life I wouldn't trade My P-Soup friends will cheer me up They're the highlight of my life What would I do without you sweet guys You banish all of life's strife Thank you dear friends from deep in my soul Couldn't imagine life without you Though I'm a bit down, I will survive When I open P-Soup, I'm renewed! © Jack Ellison 2013

Canada IS beautiful but the winters here can be brutal!!! Although, here in Southern Ontario, the climate is more moderate. Believe or not we're just a little bit north of the same latitude as northern California! Have a souper day dearest friend! Loving hugs xox

i think we all get a little down sometimes and it's great that you see the soup as a place to cheer you up. it's rare to see a down poem from you, jack, so i hope you're feeling better by now...

Be better? In Canada? In the winter?... Yeah right!... But don't worry... Dragon is here... Said he'd sit on his head, to make you smile... And flutter those cute little Dragon wings... He wants to know- do U want a picture of him with some bedazzles? He seems to think bedazzling his picture would be a perfect hobby for you. That's Dragon, but shows you, he cares. We took a vote, since it's winter- you can give us a few of your Canadian clippers so U can be warmer... Love from us guys.

No mind, my friend. We all experience a bit of down at times. They're what make the ups so much more worthwhile. Enjoy it down there. You'll soon feel the need to come up for air again.
