A Light Observance

In the evening as I reclined, A screech owl came to my drowsy mind. He sat upon a peeled elm limb, And he looked at me, I looked at him. As I enjoyed the coral sunset, My owl sat in sepia silhouette. Morning will bring his sleepy call, And I'll rise with coffee for you all.

I hope your screech owl wasn't too screechy! Beautiful lines, especially 'coral sunset'
