A Letter From the Heart

I'm writing you this letter But I don't know where to start I want you to know a few things And they're coming from the heart First of all, I love you It kills me when we're apart Everytime you go away You take a piece of my heart My skies are never gray Whenever you are near There's no where else I'd rather be Then with you, right here You are my every waking thought I want you there when I go to bed at night When life is rough, and I need some strength You give me the will to fight I need you around for simple things Like opening pickle jar lids Perhaps one day, we'll get married And have us a couple of kids I've tried to tell you how I feel more times than I can count Almost every single day But when I finally get the nerve to I never know what to say So, I guess I've finally done it I don't think I could have said it better I opened my heart, and the words poured out I've finally finished the letter
