A Leaf Fell Today
A leaf fell off the tree today,
as he slowly drifted toward
the ground it passed by a little
squirrel storing nuts for his
winter feast.
"Hello Mr. leaf, good day,
to you, and fair well."
"Same to you," replied
he.
Robin spoke in his
gentle say,"nice knowing
you and you made this
tree so lovely, with your presence.'
Closer to the ground he
came, realizing that his
purpose for this tree,
was now finished,
but nature had
another design for
him, that only
time would tell.
