A Leaf Fallen

A leaf fallen on the sidewalk Just blown from an autumn breeze Tricolored and beautiful with it colors so fancy I wondered where it blew from I wonder where it will end up? All leaves are born from trees and are tossed around by the wind of the Creator Blow wind, blow! Blow those adorning leaves! Trees wave and bend sending them on their way Til the first drops of snow Ushering the time of the leaves be passed And once the spring rains return A flashback from the past A single breath from the throne of heaven Gwendolen Rix 10-5-14
