A Lazy Day

The sun is out Its a nice day But I'd rather stay in Then go out and play The neighbor's dog Is barking loud The falling leaves Are drawing a crowd But me ,I'd rather sit inside While the other kids play seek and go hide Oops, hide and go seek But that games is silly I don't have time Plus they'd never find me It would be boring to play with those kid's I wouldn't enjoy it if I did I know, I'll make an imaginary friend We can have fun on our own and pretend We're having a tea party And we have some company Yes, that's what I'll do Bring the sugar and mugs Cookies and juices and bottles and jugs Bring it all its teatime So come and join these friends of mine Let them serve you like maids serve Kings Tell them don't forget to bring Napkins and plates, fork's and spoons Hurry, teatime will be over soon No time to waste It's almost done Now you tell me you didn't have fun
