A Lambs Memory

i still think of you everyday but somehow you are slipping away the things that were your shadows and reflections are soon becoming fading recollections i still have times when i play sad songs still kiss your picture when i get home and i still have moments when i can't help myself i cry out in agony with deepest regret but lately i've been wondering why why must i for this woman cry then i think about the moment we met how beautiful you were i'll never forget i'll always have our tender moments the ones you gave me and the ones i gave you but this world is temporal and so were you and like Job said "naked i came into this world and naked i'll leave" like light from yesterday separated by night the past like a bird has taken flight and sadly now we must say our goodbyes long farewells with tender cries my obsession with you will come to a cease my loving soul from yours released but whenever i'm lonely i'll think of you you'll always be my comfort when i need you so for now we'll begin our sad goodbye till soon one day i'll no longer cry

John please provide your a objective personal comment becuase it is be your personal take on it. Whatever it is, is taken with a grain of salt. Yet, the poem is about love, love of course has many avenues. Thank you again for taking the time to read and more over to express your feelings from it.

You deserve a round of applause for this win, John. How difficult it must have been to write about your feelings in such a beautiful, heartfelt poem. You are right; poems that come from the heart are our best efforts. So happy for your success, dear friend, and I hope you can feel my three-second embrace across the miles between us. Congratulations! Love, Carolyn

John, I hope that this is not real life, but if it is, you have my condolences. I know that God exists and that He and His Son are ood, so be at peace. I know that she will wait for you! I love the " mawkiskly mournful" remark! Pithy, John, Pithy. Regards and affection from Gerard.

Good byes are never easy to say, especially when it is with someone so dear. Time they say heal all wounds, but sometimes the healing process is a wound in itself. Continue to be blessed my friend. The storm is over now for her. Always, Joy (Jew) Soup mail.
