A Kiss Under the Mistletoe
I never had a kiss, under the mistletoe
Un-kissable I am, no-one wants to know
My dream of a kiss under the glassy white berry
Doesn’t happens when they're sober or even a little merry
Please Santa I would cry, as each New year came in
All I want this year is kiss above my chin
I won’t ask for lips that is to much to wish
I just want someone to find me a kissable little dish
I have been good all year and done lots of charitable works
Cleaning out the insects, you can afford a little perk
A kiss under the mistletoe is all I ask of you
I don’t care who it’s with, just a kiss maybe two
Standing under the berries no one is looking my way
I reach out for anyone but they just keep at bay
I try to keep out of the way and not push myself on them
But when a girl sees me, they run to other men
You’d think when they hang the bush they would check for me
Girls don’t seem to like me when they see me they just flee
The Mistletoe is high up and I drop down for a kiss
Then the scream happens just as I thought it would be bliss
With my eight legs you’d think I could catch someone
But as soon as they see me the party mood is gone
So when you buy your mistletoe, just remember me
My wish is for a Christmas kiss not for you to squash me.
