A Kiss of Sunshine
A KISS OF SUNSHINE
Today when I awoke I was bedazzled
At the sunbeams like children at play
Darting through my living room window
It was like a soft kiss to brighten my day
My thoughts soared back to my childhood
When Summer had just begun
I would walk through the trees in the garden
Dappled by the morning sun
I watched as the day unfolded
Those are the times that I miss
When I would be warmly greeted
By the sunshine and a gentle kiss
