A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies
Little children love their sweet wishes and pecks
when tucked into bed for their nighthly dreams
Light winged butterflies in myriad colours
flutter in flapping open their dreamscapes
They glide in tranquilly in exotic rays
of painted glasswings and swallowtails
Pearl eyed paper kites flitter to the zones of kids
carrying their motley desires to the hearts of gods
Bouquets of joy they bring to the rested hearts
confining their sweetness in honeyed chambers
Their mesmeric beauty is unknown to their own souls
but for admiring eyes spread out their canopy of lacewings
