A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies

A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies Subway cars cocoon doors open stretch, yawn day awakened Darting, fluttering city streets a kaleidoscope of butterflies brush strokes busily blending distant wings. Speaking in tongues fine cloth imbued - true tints of home rustling wings flowing robes changing the future psychedelic tie-dyed pasts bleeding together. 5/8/2016 submitted to – A Kaleidoscope of butterflies – Poetry contest sponsor – Julia Ward
