A Jaw Dropping Experience

Went to the ROM last weekend The Royal Ontario Museum An absolute and total eye opener for sure We, with our sophisticated smugness With our feeling of superiority Emboldened by today's amazing technological advances Need to stop and take a look back At the achievements of these artisans From centuries gone by Of generations with totally amazing skills Without the aid of of today's modern technology To help them in their endeavours Just their hands and their inventive minds The results of which were astounding I stood there in awe It was a totally mind blowing experience Everyone needs to take a break and look back It makes us realize what great things The human mind has always been capable of It was a jaw dropping experience! © Jack Ellison 2014

Jaw Dropping and inventive. Sounds like the people on PoetrySoup! Us poets should have a museum, too! Tho probably only kids on field trips and other poets would attend. Dragon wants his own museum of course, for self made heroes on the wing... He naturally expects to be the first you see and wants a statue to display that he's so mighty! I told him it would take a backing and charitable contributions... Had to stop him from going door to door... He's way to imposing... and would scare them all!

Well our museum was certainly well attended. Mostly by families with parents exposing the young 'uns to the amazing history of the human race! I was soooo impressed! XOXOXOX

Yes, there have been some truly miraculous achievements in history, and yes, those without the modern technology that we have now days, which really makes them that much more incredible! This poem is surely remarkable my friend! I truly loved reading this lovely poem here this morning! What a glorious piece, Great Work!!
